Champion Power Equipment 201317 2500-Watt Portable Inverter Generator with CO Shield is ideal for camping, tailgating, powering items around the RV or providing backup for a few basics. This unit is not recommended for emergency home backup. Weighing less than 40 lbs. this ultralight model is one of the lightest 2500-Watt inverters in the industry. Includes a 120-Volt 15.4 A household duplex outlet 5-20R, plus a 12-Volt automotive-style outlet, and Parallel outlets. This inverter operates at 53 dBA from 23 ft. – about the same noise level as a dishwasher running in the next room. When the 1.1 gal. tank of gasoline is full, this inverter will run up to 11.5 hours at 25% load. Connect this Parallel Ready inverter with another Champion 2500-Watt inverter for 30 amps of power with the optional parallel kit not included. CO Shield technology monitors the accumulation of carbon monoxide CO, a poisonous gas produced by engine exhaust when the generator is running. If CO Shield detects unsafe elevated levels of CO gas, it automatically shuts off the engine. CO Shield is not a substitute for an indoor carbon monoxide alarm or for safe operation. DO NOT allow engine exhaust fumes to enter a confined area through windows, doors, vents or other openings. Generators must ALWAYS be used outdoors, far away from occupied buildings with engine exhaust pointed away from people and buildings. Meets the requirements of ANSI/PGMA G300-2018.
