The KNIPEX ratchet cable cutter for cut up to 1.25-in, 500 kc mil copper and aluminum single conductors as well as multiple stranded cables. Not suitable for steel wire and wire ropes. Precision ground, hardened blades provides a clean and smooth cut without crushing and deformation. 1-Handed operation using the ratchet principle. Little hand force required due to very high transmission ratio. 2-Stage ratchet drive for easy cutting. Simple handling as a result of low weight and compact design can be used even in confined areas. Made of high-grade special tools steel, forged and oil-hardened.

• For cutting copper and aluminum cables, single and multiple wire (not for ACSR, steel wire and hard drawn copper conductors)
