With a focus on safety, the kettle automatically shuts off when the water is boiled, it has a boil-dry feature that does not allow for operation when empty, and a sensor that prevents the kettle from operating when not on a stable surface. It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18-Volt LXT System, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18-Volt lithium-ion slide-style batteries.
