Miniature Clover Seeds. Trifolium repens. Non-GMO, Heirloom. Perennial in Zones 3-10. Can be grown as an annual in other zones. A micro white clover with leaves that are one-third to one-half as large as traditional clover. Also grows only four to six inches tall, about half the height of traditional clovers. Use as a cover crop, or in lawns. This miniature clover is ideal as an alternative to grass or mixed in with existing lawn grasses. It is drought tolerant, provides cover for grasses to help shade and prevent drying and as a it fixes nitrogen from the air into the soil, making it a natural ongoing fertilizing source for lawn grass. Sow 2 lbs of seed per 1000 square feet if only clover. Half that much for seeding existing lawns. ~25,000 seeds per ounce.
