The NuvoH2O Home Duo system maintains the healthy hard minerals in your water. Instead of removing and replacing hard water minerals, including Calcium and Magnesium, with sodium or potassium like old-fashion softeners do, our Home Duo system uses a citrus-based softening formula, which bonds to these minerals making them incapable of sticking to pipes and surfaces. The Home Duo Water Softener Taste Filter System is ideal for homes that are less than 1,500 sq. ft. that experience symptoms of hard water and have bad tasting or smelling water in their homes. Cartridge replacement is recommended every 6 months.
